Hello Everyone, I am so excited to join the Vision Insurance Group team as your new Administrative Assistant! Just a little background about myself…I was born in Bakersfield, CA but spent most of my years growing up (K-12th grade) in the state of Minnesota! Dontcha Know! I moved to Southern California where I attended college at Hope International University, received my bachelor’s degree in liberal studies, and met my husband of now 19 years!! This summer my family and I moved from CA to Amsterdam, so that my boys could pursue their dream of playing soccer professionally!

 

Before jumping into my administrative career, I had been in leadership positions with non-profits, where I directed and lead multiple community events and was able to encourage & support families all around Orange County. While I absolutely loved what I did, my family and their dreams needed to become more of a priority so in 2020 I decided to jump over into education, and I took on the position of Administrative Assistant at an Elementary School. I quickly realized how much I really enjoy all things administrative, and I loved being in the position to help others succeed and take things off of their plate so that they could focus on the things that they were passionate about.

 

I am the mother to three boys, Jack and Luke are twins, and my youngest son is named Brent. They keep me busy with their excitement and passion for the sport of soccer (which I now need to learn to call football), as they continue to pursue their dreams and begin to travel around the world.

 

When I am not watching them play their games, I enjoy drinking a good cup of a coffee, walking through the city of Amsterdam, baking up some yummy treats, and trying new foods of all cuisines!!
